Return Policy

At Kind Decor we strive to provide you with exceptional products and services, including a transparent return policy.

Our policy lasts 30 days*. If 30 days have gone by since your date of purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food and plants cannot be returned. Gift cards, personal care items and products that are flammable are also non-returnable items.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Special Ordered Items

Special ordered items refer to products that are not regularly stocked in our inventory and are specifically ordered based on your individual preferences and are non-refundable and non-returnable: Due to the personalized nature of special ordered items, they are generally non-refundable and non-returnable. We work diligently to ensure that all details and specifications of your special order are accurately met.

We acknowledge that certain circumstances may warrant exceptions to our standard special-order-return policy. In such cases, an in-store credit may be granted. Please note that exceptions are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and subject to our discretion.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a maximum of ten business days.

Late or Missing Refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, please first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.

Sale Items Non-Refundable

Only regular priced items may be refunded; unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Items Damaged

Accidents happen. Did you receive your item damaged in the mail? We will do our utmost best to make this right. Please notify us within two days after arrival and keep original packaging. Send an email to admin@kinddecor.ca with pictures of the damaged items and we can file a claim on your behalf and work towards the process for replacement or if the product is no longer available, refund the money.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.

Shipping

To return your product, you should mail your product to:
Kind Decor, 123 Michigan Ave, N7V 1E5 Point Edward Ontario.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

We are not responsible for items that get lost in the mail. Please consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.

*Holiday decor (eg Holiday greenery, ornaments, garlands, Christmas trees, etc): can be returned with a maximum of 30 days or before December 25th of the purchase year: whichever comes earlier. Gift items can be returned with a maximum of 30 days or before December 31st of the purchase year, whichever comes first.
