Most memorable gift was a wedding present of an itinerary for our honeymoon. It was in California from San Francisco to LA with hotel suggestions, interesting stops along the way and a detailed map (this was in 1989 so no gps). Also included was entrance fees to some of the attractions. ❤️
I was 12.
Extravagant gifts were not a big thing in my family growing up. But when I received a disc camera for Christmas, I was over the moon. I felt so special that my parents would purchase such a luxury for me.
My grandma knit a beautiful afghan for my wedding many (many) years ago. She was 90 at the time. I still love it.
Best ever was the kids gave us some photos of just them that they had done professional for us.

When my mom passed my dad remarried. My dad passed and this woman took everything back to Ohio. Everything…all my mom’s memories.
A friend of my mom’s called me one day and,wanted to meet up for lunch. She handed me a beautiful green fruit bowl that my mom had and she admired so my mom gave it to her. She said she wanted me to have one thing that actually belonged to her. How wonderful. Kindness wins ❤️

Last Christmas I received a framed picture of all our grandchildren. I treasure it so much.
One Christmas our then-teenaged daughters gave us a photo album where they had, unbeknownst to us, used a PD day to recreate pictures from when they were little. They recreated outfits and even made props to replicate the older photos. Provided us with lots of laughs and memories.

My most memorable gift is the recent birth of my granddaughter born July 8, 2024.
The Christmas that I turned 14 I received an awesome 10 speed bike! ???? That bike represented freedom, independence and adventure and I loved it!
My most memorable gift was given by my sister, Brenda. I had a big deadline to prepare a cottage for rental and even though she’s just as busy as I am, she stopped everything to help me. The gift of time is the most memorable and sacrificial gift I have been given.

Most memorable gift I received was a surprise birthday party with all my people in one place for the weekend!

For my university graduation, my parents gifted me a cedar Hope chest. The special thing about this was that my mom had it finished all around so it could also double as a coffee table when I decided to move out. Still have it to this day! ❤️

When I was young I received a Chrissy doll, the one with the dial on her back to make her hair grow long!
A teddy bear made from a fur coat that was my mom’s, and her initials are on two of the paws.
The most memorable gift I have ever received was my first Mother’s Day, my parents gave me a framed Benjamin Chee Chee painting called “Mother and Child”.
When I was 8 years old Santa gave me first doll that had hair and when I would lay her down her eyes would close. She is 75 years old and I still have her!!!
I’m starting to treasure all the little artwork and trinkets my kids make and put the thought into to buy (they’re 6 & 8).
The most memorable gift I ever received was from my godmother and she had made us a paper tole of my wedding invitation and also she had made a home made hand sewn photo album

My engagement ring from my wonderful husband Randy. He proposed at big white ski resort on a sleigh with 2 clysdale horses while the snow was gently falling. It was like being in a fairytale ❤️

A trip to Iceland with my daughter for my 50th. We camped, laughed, sang, explored for 2 weeks. The best gift and memory.
As I was expecting my first baby I received a beautifully hand made crochet blanket, white and very soft I felt so blessed by this kindness from Jackie who worked in our office. It is in our family now 44 years
