The Dutch in me

No vessel can escape my love for tulips. And this love only grows deeper when I see them in a non-traditional vase. There is almost always a way to make a vessel that’s not water tight hold water. Inserting a mason jar or yoghurt container for example.
This is what I do to keep tulips from drooping:
1 Cut the stems on an angle.
2 Use a tall, straight vase.
3 Tulips like shallow water. I always make sure their feet are just in the water and refill daily.

There you go. It’s that easy to bring a little ray of sunshine into your home.
